This privacy policy describes how the Time Logging Chrome extension ("Extension") handles information when you use it with your own Time Logging instance.
The Extension has one purpose only: help users log and review work time entries on a Time Logging server that they configure in the extension settings. It does not provide unrelated features such as ad blocking, coupon finding, or general web browsing tools.
The Extension connects to a Time Logging server that you configure in the extension settings. It sends and receives work time log data through that server's API. Jira-related actions, when available, are performed by your Time Logging server and are part of the same work time logging workflow.
The Extension stores the following data locally in Chrome sync storage:
When you use the Extension, it may read the URL of the currently active browser tab to pre-fill the manual logging form.
The Extension sends requests only to the Time Logging URL that you provide. Depending on the selected mode, requests may include:
Jira credentials are not stored in the Extension. They are configured on your Time Logging account page and stored on your server.
The Extension does not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Data is transmitted only between your browser and the Time Logging server you configured.
Extension settings are stored in Chrome until you remove them or uninstall the Extension. Time log and Jira data are stored on your Time Logging server according to that server's policies.
Use HTTPS for your Time Logging instance whenever possible. Keep your API token private and regenerate it if it is exposed.
The Extension is intended for professional/work use and is not directed at children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated date will be shown at the top of this page.
